Section to modify your playback settings

Episode

Here you can enable/disable playing the next episode automatically and at what time duration from the end of the video you would like the next episode pop-up to appear.

Skip Controls

Set the number of seconds that is skipped in the player when pressing the left and right buttons on your remote.

Video player

Select which player you would like to use to open media.

NOTE: It is strongly recommend to use the default internal player. Using 3rd party players will limit functionality such as automatic progress saving, and marking content as watched.

Decoder

Set the video decoder mode. It’s best to leave this as automatic, but if you have any issues playing content it would be worth trying software or hardware. This will differ depending on the device being used.

Audio

Enable or disable audio pass through. Enabling means the app sends the raw audio signal straight to your TV, soundbar, or AV receiver without decoding it first. Useful for setups with surround sound.

Subtitles

Set the default language of subtitles to be used (set to OFF to disable subtitles by default), the subtitle size, colour, background colour and transparency.

Default Audio

Select the default audio language to be used when playing media. Note that this will only apply if the content you are watching includes an audio track in that language. STRMR cannot influence what audio tracks are present with this setting.
